The archers of the Soutpansberg Archery Club are proud to announce that they will be hosting the World Bowhunter Championships of 1997 and would like to invite all archers to attend this great event.
Join us in an African Experience in the middle of the African Bush where the wild antelope, the zebra and the wildebeest still roam freely, far away from the hectic city life, smog and pollution.
The event will be hosted on the Mutamba Game Ranch some 40 kilometres north of Louis Trichard, a small town approximately 500 kilometres north of the city of Johannesburg.
The championships will be a great event with a typical "Africa" character, where each participant will be given ample time to enjoy the African bush during and after the event.
Surrounding game ranches have arranged typical safari accommodation from as little as US$25 per person per day sharing. Game viewing, bird watching, walking trails and fishing will be possible.
Local artists will display African Art and a fleamarket will be available on a daily basis and special African dances have been arranged for the "African Night". Several hotels are available for the not so adventurous within 40 kilometres travelling distance.
Come and join us in an unforgettable event ... and see a special part of Africa.
